Kids (1995)

The Film Kids Came out in 1995 and it caused a lot of controversy due the mature subject of the film following two New York Street kids(Leo Fitzpatrick and Justin Pierce) throughout a single day in NYC. Of All the films of the time that seeked to capture what teenage Skate culture was like in the 90's This film is the absolute most accurate and It scared a lot of people. The Late Justin pierce and Harold Hunter both have substantial roles in the film as well as many other recognizablle skateboarders of the era. The soundtrack to this film was pretty decent, as well, listening to it in 2020 brings back a lot of hazy memories of making bongs in my room out of vases and partaking in other general juvenile deliquency. This film is an absolute classic and sybolizes a pivotal moment in 1990's street and skateboarding culture.
