DAEWON | Documentary | Transworld Skateboarding
This is a sweet little Documentary about Daewon Song's skateboarding career. It never seemed like Daewon Song was ever really huge name in skateboarding even though he made Skater of the year in 1996, in the 90's you'd sometimes see him in an ad doing some super-technical trick on some weird obstacle that no one else would ever think to skate and be like, "Who is this dude? This documentary gives creedance to one of skateboarding's most underrated street skaters and after watching it I have a newfound appreciation as Daewon as a skater.

Spotting your homie in Thrasher Magazine
I can't remember what issue of Thrasher this came out of but I do remember saying to myself, "Hey!, Tomas Atwood?!? That dude was my neighbor!"Tomas Atwood now makes a living as a professional artist in Eureka, California and his art is very well recognized in the region. I'm personally proud of this guy's accomplishments as an artist. When I was a kid the skate crew was always on my street(South Gold St. Yreka, CA) and Tomas lived across from me in a duplex and The person on the other side of the duplex was a raging psycho that was always screaming at her kids. I swear, this bitch would disturb the entire neighborhood with her yelling. That neighborhood sure had its moments. I remember I must have been about 9 years old and I'm in my front yard in my lemonade stand on the corner of South Street and Gold Street and this Cadillac comes barreling down the street, hits the corner and a kid jumped out of the back seemingly running for his life. The postman dropped his One time I went over to Tomas' garage sale and bought a bunch of old Sega video games and books from him. One of those books contained an original sketch by him that I still own to this day and I'm holding onto it until it's worth millions. I'm still friends with Tomas and he publishes his art under an Asian moniker much like myself, Yomama Sukkake. If you 're from the Humboldt area, you already know.

Skateboarding before the internet Existed
Just going through my old pics I came across these. These are some pre-Internet and digital photography photos when you had to actually pay for photos to be developed and if your homie completely sucked at taking skateboarding photos you end up with some wackness like this. I remember getting these developed a nd being hella disappointed like, "bro...why can't you catch me mid-flip and make this shit look fresh? Whatever... Name the spot and you win a cookie.

1995 Etnies Rap Skateboarding Shoe
I was rocking these in 1995. I wish they still made these. All the Etnies shoes nowadays are ridiculously puffy-tongued and just look childish. The old Etnies shoes were gangster af. You'd think a shoe company would keep making their classic designs just like Nike and Reebok do with Classics, but for some reason Etnies doesn't operate in the same way other shoe companies do. IDK? Maybe they're just short on manufacturing space. Whatever, I'm rambling. Whose got a pair old Etnies Raps in Navy, size 9 laying around? Hit me up. I want 'em.
